The Executive Director is responsible for the management of Newport Community Television including the financial, programming, community relations, educational, and personnel operations of the community access facility. The Studio/Technical Coordinator is responsible for assisting community producers and presenters with their projects as necessary. This assistance may include preparation of programs for cablecasting, teaching basic to advanced production and editing processes, and providing production assistance for studio or field projects depending on the need of the producer. In addition, the S/TA is responsible for managing the program server, simple maintenance of production equipment, and for reporting any problems to the Executive Director.
The Studio Manager is also expected to assist with NCTV operations as necessary. The SM will work under the supervision of the Executive Director in a team environment wherein all staff share the responsibility to provide services to drop-ins, appointments, and telephone callers.
